Before the Corona crisis hit our part of the world, our team used to go out for brunch every Sunday to meet up with some of our closest friends, catch up with them on what is going on in their lives, and visit some of the many museums we have in the city. It is something that was an integral part of all our social lives and we miss it dearly. Like many others, we understand the importance of staying home for the time being.
Even if we can not go out and see our friends at the moment, and discover new places with them, it is something we are already looking forward to be able to do again, hopefully, in the not too distant future. In the meantime, we enjoy our weekly brunches at home as families.
Recreating a relaxed brunch environment at home is very easy. We take it as an opportunity to try out new recipes that we normally would not prepare at home. It certainly is a very enjoyable experience for the entire family. Especially, if you let your children pick a theme!
Living by the sea, a very popular one has been “Seaside Fun”.
Inspired by this, we have put together some items you need for a maritime inspired brunch table:
