At Judaica in the Spotlight, we enjoy trying new things. Especially, when it comes to art. There is just so much to discover! The perfect example is papercutting. Did you know that papercut art has been around for thousands of years? There is something very meditative to it. Practicing it requires your full concentration, otherwise you cut yourself and we all know how much paper cuts hurt … now imagine cutting yourself with a precision knife! You don’t want this to happen.
We have created a large selection of over a 100 papercut templates for anyone who wants to try this beautiful art form but doesn’t want to spend hours designing before starting to cut. All you need to get started is a good quality precision knife (x-acto knives will work just fine), paper, and a self-healing mat.
