Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background.
Hi, and welcome to my world of carefully crafted, bursting with style wonderfully free-spirited, hand-made with love fashion for women like you. My name is Sharon Guy – a second-generation creator, designer, and maker of bridal & eveningwear fashion for women.
I surrendered to my passion for fashion 19 years ago when I decided to realize my home-born calling for fashion design and quit the High Tech world where I worked for 9 years. As a former High Tech gal, I inspire for innovation and creation and my designs are always cutting edge and relevant and always with the “end-user” in mind. But then my heart and soul take over the design process, and as I create my looks I truly listen to my clients and their dreams and wishes.
What inspired you to become a designer?
From a very young age, I watched my mother who’s a fashion designer creating the magic of fashion, I live and breathe fashion and can’t see myself doing anything else
When you start to design a new bridal collection, what is the process like? Do you tend to design with a certain type of bride in mind? Where do you take your inspiration? How do you keep up with the current trends?
I gather my inspiration for any new item I produce from immersing myself in the most current and happening global scenes around me, looking and observing young women who inspire me. I love browsing fabric stores where I let the textures ignite my imagination. I constantly search for new trends and drawn to new ideas from different places, cultures, peoples. I love touching, feeling, physically playing with a new idea or fabric and sometimes I just enjoy draping it on a mannequin to watch it adorn the curves, embellish the form, envelop and develop into the perfect, just perfect, new bridal dress. I then set off a creative process that produces beautiful and unique wedding gowns that are chic, elegant, current and affordable for that special moment in the life of any young woman.
What do you enjoy the most about the design process?
I love browsing fabric stores where I let the colors and textures ignite
my imagination.

What are your favourite materials to work with?
I love working with soft and light fabrics those which give a light and airy look to dress, I love dainty laces to embellish my dress, sometimes I enjoy decorating the dress with pearls.
What are the most important aspects brides should keep in mind when choosing their dress?
I think that brides should think about the dress of their dreams but still bear in mind the comfort issue, If you wear a dress that you’re not comfortable in, it will show, At an ideal situation you should be aware of your dress, know that you look wonderful but not feel the dress, like it’s not there…..only then you’ll feel light and liberated to enjoy your wedding and not be bothered with dress issues.
What are your favourite designs in your current collection?
I really like my bridal separates designs as they open a lot of options, you can mix & match them, and literally get the most out of them. I also love my jumpsuits, I think they are cool and trendy and very romantic.
How has the wedding scene in Israel changed since you have launched your label?
I always had my style, which is boho light and breezy, but with time jumpsuits and bridal separates became very trendy and popular; brides today want to feel comfortable and I want to give them just that, beauty & comfort.
What are your wishes for the future?
I like to see more and more brides
wearing my designs
Furthermore, I recently launched a Bridal accessories collection, I want it to
do well and be accepted by the brides and it is unique and edgy.
